Versions - Mac Subversion Client
Beta not quite available for download, but it looks like the best svn gui for OS X yet. I wish there was something like this for Bazaar.
La Fonera on a Mac
The trick to setting up/using a Fonera wifi access point on a Mac. Now maybe my little white buddy will start working.
First look at MacFUSE and sshfs
The whole installing kernel extensions bit is a little bold, but for remote web space to show up in the Finder as a mounted drive I’m willing to try it. Particularly if I can then edit remote files as a project with TextMate.
Mac OS X S3 Browser
Looks good, doesn’t appear to be scriptable though.
iStache!
Easily add a ’stache to your photos! If there was ever an app for you, Duv, this is it!
Peanut Gallery - The Online Interactive Multi-User Movie Theater Simulation
Your own Mystery Science Theater 3000 show with friends near and far on your Mac. I’d love to try this out.
Textmate shortcuts cheat sheet
Snippets and commands for Textmate. HTML, CSS, PHP, etc. Not comprehensive, but nice for quick reference.
ZigVersion - OS X Subversion GUI
Nice Subversion GUI. A nice GUI complement to TextMate’s built in SVN functions and the command line client.
WhatSize - OS X disk cleanup freeware
UI looks good, similar to Omni Disk Sweeper, only free!
CmapTools - Concept mapping software
Stand-alone and server hosted concept mapping software! OS X versions, yay! (Website suffers from horribly mystery meat navigation.)
Getting no name usb to serial adaptors to work on Mac OS X
Hmm, might just be easier to keep the T610 connected via bluetooth.
Play Windows Media files in Quicktime
Yes, yes. One less media player I’ll have to open. Nice.
iPodDisk: iPod as iDisk
Mounts your iPod’s music partition in the finder. Music organized by artist, title.
Cultured Code - Xyle scope
Neato OS X app that lets you elegantly view and live-edit XHTML/CSS pages. Neat being able to clearly see how a page is constructed. Flipping between the html, css and rendered page was a drag!
“OS X” Series 60 theme
Best one I’ve seen yet. Thankfully the type used is different on the 6620 vs 6630.
DoubleTake - OS X panorama stitching app
Nice UI and iPhoto integration. No auto brightness/contrast matching across images, and not currently designed to assemble panorama “matrixes”. Still, may be worth trying out.
Onlife - Observes, visualizes and make searchable your every interaction with common OS X software programs.
I think we’ll see more and more of this type of interaction/”attention” tracking in web and desktop apps in the future. The whole “instant total recall of activity” thing is a bit weird. I hope we don’t forget how to forget things…

Using /usr/local - Hivelogic
Simple and clear explanation of why it’s a good idea to put apps you compile/configure yourself into /usr/local/[bin | sbin | etc]
Snippet from Kannel config file to use T637 phone as GSM modem
Kannel running on 10.4.1, phone connected via bluetooth. Details: group = smsc, smsc = at, modemtype = T630-T628, device = /dev/tty.T637-SerialPort1-1, speed = 9600, sim-buffering = true
Getting OS X to generate/show image thumbnail icons
I ended up just using OS X’s “Window -> Show view options” pref to generate image thumbs, rather than this little utility. But maybe for future use…
